Surrounded by unspoiled nature, Hotel Bohinj is situated 100 metres from Bohinj Lake. It offers rooms with mountain view and few rooms on the top floor with lake view. We came and traveled around Slovenia for a week and stayed at amazing resorts around the country! This was our favorite! The location is stunning! Breakfast was beautiful! We went to the spa and it was amazing. Great time of year to visit since there were very few tourists. Only complaint was that we hadn’t stayed here longer.

The decor, the setting, the comfortable bed, the staff, the breakfast and the fact the chef created a five course vegetarian dinner for us “off menu” that was out of this world delicious. This is a wonderful place to rest and recharge or to use as a base for exploring lakes and mountains.

Majerca is a beautiful boutique hotel that really felt like a classy secret hideaway. Things to love about it include the stunning location, beautifully designed space, incredible restaurant and friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is about 10 minutes' walk along a quiet forest road from the nearest bus stop. It has a huge green garden adjoining the terrace/restaurant and the most gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains. This is a small hotel with just a handful of staff, but they are really nice people, particularly the guys running the restaurant. Speaking of which - dinner here is a must (there are not many options in the area anyway). The food is maybe the best I ever had in a hotel restaurant - the nduja pork belly is stunningly tasty. I think the menu rotates, but you can't go wrong. Vegetarian options are strong too, and the breakfast was also a wonderful way to kick off the day (again, very friendly service and superb coffee). The rooms are huge and the beds unbelievably comfortable. Our en-suite had a bath (!) which was a fabulous touch. The hotel has mountain bikes you can borrow for free to go for a ride around the lake or up into the hills. Other hotels would charge for this - it speaks a lot to Majerca's excellence that it was available at no cost. I'd stay there again without question and will tell my friends and family to pass by too.

The luxurious 4-star Superior Bohinj Eco Hotel is an oasis of peace and comfort set in Bohinjska Bistrica, at the edge of Triglav National Park, 6.5 km from Bohinj Lake and 20 km from Bled Lake. In a beautiful environment, very friendly staff, comfortable room, delicious food.

Hotel Jezero is centrally located by the Bohinj Lake, in the heart of the Julian Alps, where you can fill your lungs with fresh mountain air and admire superb sunsets over the mountains. The staff were outstanding. Extremely helpful and resourceful to answer our questions and help us with logistical planning. There is a pool and ping pong table. Breakfast was good. The location is perfect. Right next to the bus stop. Our balcony had a nice view of the lake and mountains.

Beautiful view of the surrounding forest and pastures from the expansive patio and cozy nooks in the restaurant to stay and enjoy an evening drink.

Hotel Center Pokljuka er umkringt skógi og er staðsett í Rudno Polje, við hliðina á skíðaiðkunarmiðstöð. Plenty of choices for breakfast and dinner. Great location just beneath the mountains.

Hotel Pokljuka er staðsett á Pokljuka-hásléttunni í hjarta Triglav-þjóðgarðsins, innan um stóra skóga og há fjöll. Það er í um 20 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Bled og Bohinj. Great hotel. Very clean, freshly renovated rooms with modern design. Healthy breakfast (but cold use more vegetables). Good location between Bled and Bohinj.
