Location is great, quiet and surrounded with forest. Hotel itself is very clean and modern. It is part of one of the oldest thermal spa resorts in Slovenia. It's connected with pools with thermal water and Balnea fun park. It has modern, clean rooms with everything you need. Our room had massage tubs and very good Wi-Fi. There is plenty of sunlight since the whole balcony wall is a window. Panoramic passageway leading to Vitarium Spa & Beauty is very nice and it takes you directly from your hotel to Spa area with slides, jets and a proper swimming pool where you can actually swim. Staff is very tentative, nice and very helpful. Food is delicious 😋, They have huge variety of locally produced ingredients. For lunch and dinner you can choose from three options as a main course. The rest is self serving.

On a small island surrounded by the Krka River lies the rebuilt Otocec Castle Hotel, offering a perfect atmosphere for weddings, parties and business meetings. We enjoyed a completely pampered stay - definitely a plus on a 10 week roadtrip abroad as the hotel afforded total downtime on what was otherwise a whirlwind tour of places we've never explored. The hotel is amazing for its location and history, and the wine tasting experience in the old castle tower was a highlight.

Very comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Good internet. Convenient private parking in front of the hotel. A wonderful breakfast. The staff is very kind and responsive.

The hotel was excellent in terms of bed comfort, as I was very satisfied with the quality of sleep. Additionally, I was impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Overall, it was an extremely positive experience.
