Perhentian Bay Chalet is located on the beachfront in Perhentian Island, 600 metres from Petani Beach and 1.5 km from Tuna Bay. Rooms were basic but clean. Towels, cups and soap were provided. Staff were friendly and helpful. The cafe had good food which wasn’t very expensive. Roti canai for breakfast was a hit and we had dinner there twice.

Perhentian Hazipah is located on the beachfront in Perhentian Island, 1.4 km from Tuna Bay and 2.8 km from Mira Beach. The property is non-smoking and is situated 800 metres from Petani Beach. Snorkeling was the best. The place is fantastic. Good place to visit again in the future.

BuBu Villa offers relaxing stays at Long Beach strip on Pulau Perhentian Kecil. The spacious and elegant villas feature a private terrace and thatched roofs. This was the holiday of a lifetime. A fantastic experience for all of us (2x 60+ somethings and 2x 20+ somethings). Carla and her entire team without exception were attentive, friendly, and each very interesting in their own individual way. From first impressions (the porter carrying a 25Kg suitcase from the landing boat up the beach to the hotel - on his head!!), through the welcome drink and Carla's very helpful introduction to island life, the food, and happy hour cocktails every day that you can set your watch by ready for the evenings activities along the beach (fire show, lots of excellent food, beach bars), will remain in our memories for a very long time - well at least until we return again!! The beach was a great blend of very clean, and lively enough to be interesting without overcrowding (the two weeks before Europe schools break for summer). So much to do too! We were here 8 nights and were busy right through, snorkelling with turtles, baby shaks (sic), little Nemo's and a whole host of other tropical fish. We were lucky enough to see, on two separate days, turtles come up the beach in front of the hotel to lay 100+ eggs (taken to a local sanctuary for hatching and release), and watch the mothers (Shirley Turts and Lily Shelby) make their way back to the water after dark. Amazing wildlife. A short day trip to Redang island was very worthwhile too - beautiful beaches. The boat boys (GreenBoys next to the hotel) were super helpful and friendly for all our excursions out to sea. We made a great number of ongoing social media friends on this trip. We used the spa on several occasions - June's massages were terrific after a long day in the sun and sea.

Perhentian AB Guest House offers a public bath and an open-air bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi in Perhentian Island, 1.2 km from Tuna Bay. We booked here tweise. Owner is very friendly and helpful. The room on the left outside is very big with kitchen-unit. Next to the moskee🕌 so you receive a waking up call, but luckely he has a good voice🤙 We loved ficherman village above all other villages, because there live a lot off friendly locals and children ⚽are playing on the streets. Nice energie ⚡ town. There is a walking pad on bought sides to other beaches. The one on the left (comming from your room) is in bad shape en turns in to a jungle walk and you need good walking shoes. 😅😞 The one on the right is in good shape and sandals are OK. 1 or 2 spots are bad because a tree felt over the pad. The path lead your to the nice coral beach 🏖 and in between you have two small beaches with 1 bar where you can rest and drink with spectacular vieuw and quietness . ZEN Time. 😍 💗 depending on your speed 90 min. 🤿I highly recommend a snorkeling trip and the small package of 3 beaches is more than enough. They go go the beaches that are good at that moment so the client is satisfied 😇we swom with a wild turtle of 1m big and everyone kept a distance off 1,5m to not interfere her space. So magical ✨🍀
