This was such an excellent staff who worked together to make our visit a joy! No request was impossible and we felt pampered beyond our expectations. Being met at the airport by Sumesh at night was a great start. The head waiter Biraj was so welcoming and did a great job of advising us of ingredients in the food as we have a strict vegetarian diet. The chef made us fresh oatmeal every morning and accommodated special requests easily. He even made us cake with our eggs! Food is important so we have great appreciation for all of them. Boat rides out to see rays and colorful reefs were a treat and affordable. One of the kind owners was our guide and pointed out rays, sharks, octopuses and things we might have missed without him. Our last night Biraj traced a large heart in the sand by the water and they lined it with candles. Our dinner table was placed inside the heart. It was so thoughtful and the whole staff was so friendly and attentive! We felt like we’re were at a fancy resort being treated like royalty by men who enjoyed their work and did it lovingly. I could go on and on but you have to go have your own experience with this special place. I know we’ll be back again.

Nice breakfasts. Tidy rooms with daily cleaning. Pick-up and drop-off to the beach, which was extremely convenient. The staff did its best to fulfill guests’ expectations and make their stay as comfortable as possible.

Set on the beachfront in Maalhos at the heart of UNESCO biosphere Reserve at Baa atoll, Thundi Village & Spa offers a restaurant. It also has a garden and a terrace. The location, staff, and service were excellent. We also enjoyed the spaciousness of our room, the quality of food, and the selection of the trips offered, ranging from swimming with local fauna, visit to other islands (resort island, uninhabited island, sand bank) to spending time with the locals (cooking class, fishing). The hotel was brand new, the rooms and the place was easy on the eye, we stopped by here to visit hanifaru bay and just see the Mantas and we did it & It was magical swimming with them! we should have stayed longer, the island it self is a quite and relaxing place with wonderful nature, we should have booked the place to spend our entire holiday in the Maldives and we are definitely coming back for a future holiday.

They have an outstanding manager Rifa for all snorkeling/diving/fishing/… activities that will make your day. Truly an amazing person and you won’t regret spending some of your holiday time with him. I do recommend this place. It is little island and you can feel alone sometimes. Of all the guests houses this residence is the most luxury. Edit. 10.2023. Really kind manager and cheerful chef. Bikini beach distance is about 15 minutes walk. In the evening you can use swimming pool. I think the only one in the island. They change the main chef and he is from Sri Lanka now. Ask him for cook anything and he will manage this. Rooms are comfortable and air conditioning is clean and good. I recommend to see two close islands. Gendering and Fulhadoo

However, what truly made our stay exceptional was the incredible service provided by the manager, Afou, and a staff member, Jinane. They went above and beyond to create a bespoke experience for us, turning our stay into something truly memorable. Afou and Jinane organized a custom snorkeling trip where we had the amazing opportunity to swim with turtles and even tried to spot some nurse sharks. Their knowledge of the local marine life and the best spots for snorkeling was impressive. The highlight of the trip was visiting a sandbank and an uninhabited island, both of which boasted crystal clear waters and breathtaking scenery. It felt like we were in a little slice of paradise. This personalized adventure greatly compensated for the otherwise average room. The effort and dedication Afou and Jinane put into ensuring our stay was unique and enjoyable were truly commendable. Thanks to their extraordinary service and the incredible experiences they curated for us, our stay at the hotel became an unforgettable one.
