Situated in the northern Iceland coastal village of Saudárkrókur, this property is 90 minutes’ drive from central Akureyri. It offers free Wi-Fi, an on-site bar and an outdoor geothermal hot tub. This was my favorite bed & breakfast on our trip around Iceland’s Ring Road! I loved all the history of the hotel, the 1800’s decor, the touches of luxury like bath robes and very comfortable bedding and Icelandic wool blankets, and the breakfast was delicious! Elise at the front desk was so sweet, friendly, and patient. And the hot springs tub outside on the back patio was a wonderful way to end the day! Loved every minute and wished we could have stayed longer!

Everything is perfectly clean, only the rooms are very small. The hot tub is a great benefit with perfect view.

Offering a barbecue and terrace, Steinn Farm Private Apartment is set in Sauðárkrókur in the North Iceland Region. The apartment has a panoramic view over the fjord. The location is amazing, we saw orcas swimming in the ocean by the property during december! Once in a lifetime experience.
