Absolutely gorgeous hotel in a quiet secluded location. Room was immaculate with stunning mountain view. Restaurant was top class.

The location was great - just far enough from town to have a clear view of the northern lights when they flared up at night. Worth the price for the area.

Just 5 minutes’ drive from Höfn in south-east Iceland, this hotel is found along Route 1, close to the country’s largest glacier Vatnajökull. Breakfast was great and the dining area was even better than photos show. We were very pleasantly surprised with this hotel on our long road trip. Staff was helpful and kind as well.

The service here was absolutely wonderful, really above and beyond! The lounge area was great for happy hour and the rooms were cozy with a nice view of the snowy mountains.
