Hotel in Porthmadog
Situated within Snowdonia National Park, Aberdunant Hall is a 17th-century property set within 200-acres of woodland on an idyllic upmarket Holiday Home Park. Myself, my husband and my two children came to stay here, in one of their cabanas, for just one night. We were trying to make the most of having a full day in Wales on the Saturday. We booked quite last minute and didn't do any research, it was purely based on location and price. When we arrived we got a little lost looking for the check in but the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Our cabana was brilliant, worth every single penny. Just the right size for my family, clean, airy, everything you need! 10/10. We had pizza on the terrace which was super tasty and the kids played for hours in the playground and the enormous rhododendron bushes. What a beautiful setting, definitely more than a caravan park! I would highly recommend staying here and it's starred as a place we will stay at again.

Criccieth
Excellent location overlooking Cardigan Bay, Apartment had everything for an excellent stay. All supermarkets you could need in Porthmadog around 5 miles away. Good location for exploring Gwynedd. Kitchen and lounge area a good size with excellent sea views all round.
The location is beautiful, the staff are the best, the food was delicious (best burger ever!!) The room was spotless for a pet room and the bed was very comfortable. My only regret is we couldn't stay longer.
The breakfast menu is fantastic and the food did not disappoint. One of the nicest meals I've had for a long time, period! Joel and Tracey make it a great and were really helpful and accomodating.
Lodge room was spacious. Modern bathroom. Great location just 5 mins walk from restaurant/shopping strip.
The staff were highly efficient and customer orientated. Nothing was too much trouble and they were instrumental in finding solutions. I felt valued and respected.
Directly at Promenade, friendly and attentive staff, good Restaurant ,
Executive suite was a very pleasant experience. The garden is lovely, the view too. The lake and the castle are right next to the hotel.
Lovely hotel and comfortable room. Great location. Would recommend
Great location, super friendly staff throughout, great choice of cooked breakfast, very tasty bar meals.
The sea view was amazing wasn't expecting a view from your own balcony for what we paid!
The room was excellent in all ways, nice big living area, sofa's were nice to sit on, also a table and chairs to sit at, TV was fine as was the free WiFi (good connection) we asked for it to be boosted, this was not an issue, one phone call to the reception, sorted. Balcony and views over the estuary and Castle were to die for, great sundown's on two occasions. Staff were excellent could not do enough for you, breakfast was included and could not fault it, was hot and tasty, loads to chose from, Lunch and evening meals, great service and quality, food was good and reasonably priced.
We had two dinners at Royal Oak. The first was rather disappointing. When we returned to town a week later, we had an exceptional dinner in their beautiful peacock blue dining room. Regardless of which visit, staff were uniformly kind and warm. Our room was comfortable and breakfast was again excellent, both in quality of the raw materials and care in preparation.
Very friendly staff, great room and lovely food.
The pool was nice. I enjoyed the steam room after a long day of exploring. The location is convenient to visit the castle. Parking onsite is a plus.
Room, View, elegant hotel, grounds, food
The property is beautiful and cosy. The area is very green and quiet. Our hosts were very kind and made us feel so welcome. We travelled with our 7 year old and small dog. Food was delicious and they even cooked a special meal for my fussy eater boy. Breakfast was amazing and we looked forward to it every day. We would love to come back. We left bearing very thoughtful gifts from our lovely hosts.
The hotel was very well located, very nice room, lovely stuff and amazing breakfast. I went there just for one night but I hope to come back soon, and definitely I’m going to repeat the hotel.
Lovely location and seating areas downstairs
