I found the description of this hotel so interesting that I decided to go out of my way to stay here instead of continuing on to Carcassone. I had a huge room in Renaissance style with so many features and special ornamentation from that era. It was like spending the night in a museum of decorative arts. The hotel staff speak perfect English and we're kind enough to bring my bags to the room. The location is easy to find with GPS. It's not a very large city and there's plenty of free parking within convenient walking distance although the hotel does offer valet parking for a fee. This overnight was one of the highlights of my trip.

We spent a wonderful two nights at Hotel Le Troubadour with our baby girl. The gîte we stayed in was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped with kitchen facilities and air conditioning. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The best we have had in any French hotel. The location of the hotel was perfect - within a short walk of Rocamadour, and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend Le Troubadour and look forward to staying there again.

Location is excellent, 1 minute walk from the main plaza where all restaurant and main shops are located, far away enough to be quiet despite local events taking place there. Breakfast was great, with hot cooking if desired. Staff is very friendly and resolute. Sabrina made our stay very nice.
