Facing the beachfront, Sofitel Barú Calablanca offers 5-star accommodation in Cartagena de Indias and features a garden, restaurant and bar. The pictures don’t do this hotel justice, it’s so much nicer than you expect. Everything is of a very high standard. The staff are very helpful and nice. The decor and the rooms are gorgeous, all rooms have a sea view but would definitely recommend a room above the ground floor as they’re a bit exposed to other guests. The pools are spacious, lots of beds, same on the beach which you can walk right on to from the pool. Everything is very accessible. The food is of a good standard. The prices are a little high for things like ‘French’ water, so make sure to ask for the Columbia brands as they’ll default to the expensive one. The water sports are fantastic! definitely recommend.

Situated in Cartagena de Indias, 150 metres the nearest beach, Oz Hotel Luxury features air-conditioned accommodation and a bar. The room was really spacious, really nicely decorated with great taste. Super clean and the bed…so comfortable. Breakfast was very generous with a lot of choices. Staff is super nice and helpful.

Casona de Colegio in Cartagena de Indias provides accommodation with a garden a terrace, an infinity pool and a bar. Upon my arrival, I was greeted with a drink by the manager who was very friendly and also professional. This was followed by all the staff and everyone spoke very good English which I appreciated as my Spanish isn’t perfect. The pool was stunning and I felt like I had it to myself at times which was a huge bonus. The breakfast was also really good and my room was really comfortable with a nice balcony and a nice view

Set in Cartagena de Indias, a few steps from Bocagrande Beach, Hyatt Regency Cartagena offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a bar. We spend 5 amazing days in this hotel. We did chose to upgrade our room on our arrival (junior suite to residency suite). BEST CHOICE EVER. We did get the room 3902 (on the 39th floor) which is located at one of the corners of the hotel. The room had a balcony and an amazing view on the sea side but we also had the view of the bay(bedroom window). Definitely the best room. We had breakfast and a little snack (free drinks and snacks from 16h-18h) in the afternoon included. The infinity pool on the 14th floor was definitely our favorite spot. From here you have an amazing view of the sunset. The food in the hotel is really good too. Special thanks to Fernanda who daily served us with drinks and food. A special thanks also to Mayra from the reception, who helped us to choose the right excursions. We were allowed to keep our room on check out day until 15h. Which allowed us to enjoy fully the whole morning. As our flight was really late in the afternoon, we were allowed to stay at the pool and use the special lockers with showers to enjoy some more hours in the sun. Special feature is the drying machine for swimsuit in these locker. The location of the hotel was also great. In front is a big beach and the old town is like a 15 min walk. Next to the hotel is also a big shopping mall. I definitely recommend this hotel! Thanks to the whole Hyatt team!

Pitoresque and fresch boutique hotel with a great location in Cartagena. The staff is fantastically welcoming and helpful. They will help you with everything you need (if legal :)). We had a top room with a terrace overlooking the castle, beautiful view. The 140 cm bed was comfortable and big enough for us. The room had ok hot water in the shower. Very good breakfast and always offering a variety of fruits for free during the whole stay. Julio at the reception was exceptionally helpful and a lot of fun to discuss all sorts of things including tropical fruits, markets, tourist attractions etc. Overall fantastic. Would never stay anywhere else if visiting Cartagena.

Everything was clean and the room super comfortable. All members of the staff are really kind and helpful. The breakfast is really good. The pool is actually a decent size to cool off and is kept clean.

It's a great Hotel, very nice and friendly staff. We've spent NYE there, they organized a charming party. It's a pretty new Hotel and maybe not everything is still running super smooth, but the do everything to make the stay as superior as possible.
