The pousada was perfect. Simply put. The entire property was incredibly clean, the staff were all nice and happy that we were enjoying ourselves, and we still dream about the food. Everything was absolutely perfect. The host, Andrade, made sure that all of our needs were taken care of, and we can confidently say that he has created a special place on Ilha Grande.

Beautiful views from the resturant and dock Room was very clean Lovely dog and cat. Staff couldn't do enough to help, service was great ( despite the language difficulties) Breakfast was great delivered to the table and plenty of options. We were lucky with amazing weather and because its winter we pretty much had the place to ourselves.

Very pleasant stay! Love the part of the island. Accomodation was clean and new. Lovely breakfast made by the owner on the porch with sea view. Close to the beach and almost in the forest 🤍 We actually saw a dolphins from the porch!

The staff is amazing, they guided us to get to Araçatiba and were very helpful during our entire stay. The location is perfect!

We got upgraded to a room with sea view, and it was just perfect. The room was big (which is quite rare for Ilha Grande), it had a fridge and air condition, it was cleaned everyday and the view was stunning. To be able to lay in the hammock and turn around to see the ocean, was amazing. Tony and the rest of the staff are extremely nice and helpful! They don’t speak English, but they make it work with smiles, gesticulations and a little bit Google translate. The place is located at the beach and has a great restaurant. I recommend the açaí bowl ;) There are also other great restaurants and beaches nearby, and boat trips arranged everyday. Thank you for a perfect stay!

The owner and all staff membres were exceptionally friendly. They took time to explain things, they took time with us too, advised on activities we could do (diving, hiking, snitching spots and so on) and helped out whenever needed. My dream was to eat a a jack fruit before leaving the island. There were trees all over the place but none in the shop and it’s not easy to get this 30kg fruit from the three top. Monica, the owner, managed to get me one !!!! It was amazing !!!!

Fabiana und Leonardo are perfect hosts and very friendly people. We were very sad when leaving them. Fantastic nature and surroundings, homemade dinner and breakfast on a terrace with an awesome view. On top fantastic boat trips with Leonardo to lovely secret beaches, snorkeling spots and so on. Many greetings from Susanna, Robert, Bastian and Julian. We lost our hearts to this lovely place on earth and the both hosts.

Pousada Crouze is an amazing stay, a beautiful location hidden away from the main port and the mass tourism. Very much looked after by Sonia who have lived there for more than 1 1 years. The room was basic and simple but had all we needed, most of the time was spend on the veranda deck in the hammocks and exploring the island. Sonia made sure everything was perfect and that everyone was happy. Great breakfast and the chef, Fabio, did amazing dishes to share for 2 in the evening. Sonia even organised a boat day trip to remote beaches, helped me with arranging a scuba dive and even our transport back to the mainland again.
