Nově zrekonstruovaný apartmán v srdci Jeseníků leží v osadě Vidly nedaleko světoznámých lázní Karlova Studánka - místem s nejčistším vzduchem střední Evropy. V osadě lze navštívit staré šachty po těžbě železné a měděnné rudy nebo se vydat po mnohočetných turistických a cyklistických trasách. V zimě je LYRA ideálním zázemím všem vášnivým lyžařům neboť v okolí se nachází několik známých sjezdovek jako je Kopřivná,Karlov Malá Morávka atd. Rekreační poplatek OÚ se hradí na místě v hotovosti.
Kdo nebyl na Pradědu, jako by ani nenavštívil Jeseníky. Nejvyšší hora Moravy a současně nejvyšší vrchol pohoří Hrubý Jeseník dosahuje nadmořské výšky 1 492 metrů nad mořem. A především výhledy z vrcholu stojí za výlet! Hosté Apartmánu se na Praděd pěšky nejsnáze dostanou z Karlovy Studánky. Malebná je například žlutá turistická trasa údolím Bílé Opavy. Stezka divokým kaňonem končí u chaty Ovčárna. Poslední tři kilometry až na vrchol Pradědu jsou pak procházkou po široké silnici. Pokud vám to do kopce nešlape dobře, vyjeďte z Karlovy Studánky na parkoviště k Ovčárně autem nebo autobusem. Ať se dostanete na Praděd jakkoliv, určitě se na vrcholu nechte vyvézt výtahem na rozhlednu ve výšce 1 565 metrů. Za dobrého počasí přehlédnete kus České republiky od Krkonoš až po Beskydy. Za návštěvu stojí také stylová restaurace v budově vysílače. Když se tam dobře občerstvíte, osm kilometrů zpět do Karlovy Studánky zvládnete hravě.
