The hotel seems to be a recently opened one, it looks amazing, very modern, the room is big and comfortable, same applies for the bathroom. The location is just perfect, it is in the city center, walking distance to the castle, restaurants are next door. The staff was very nice and helpful, we had a late check-in and it went very smoothly. I can only recommend this place.

The location is just in front of the castle, and in the middle of the historical circus, so it's easy to start anything from here. The street is super chill. Long distance bus-stop is in 3 mins walk.
The room is cute and had all I needed, the nice furniture is really having a vibe (and still functional), the single-bed room is comfortable, not crammed, and although the bed is the hard type, I had a good rest here.

It is a small town with nothing much to do, more so since it was 1 January and everything was closed. The Church of the Sacred Heart in the centre of the town is absolutely stunning inside. Kőszeg is a nice, tiny town at the Austro-Hungarian border. There are beautifully renovated houses from the 17-18. century in downtown and, of course, the Fortress. The churches are also beautiful. The main one at Fő tér is under reconstruction. Locals are friendly and helpful. I owe many thanks to one of them (Barbara, from the Hair and Beauty Salon near Tesco and Penny Markt) who helped me find a new accomodation after I had realized the one I booked was out of question.VikiHungary

It is very-very clean, well-designed with attention to detais; comfortable, classy, and pretty with the best view of the castle. In fact, in the garden, one of the walls IS a wall of the castle. The owner was kind and made sure everything was perfect! He made me breakfast twice without a list of allergens. The room was spacious and comfortable. Did I mention the million dollar view? The quality of my stay was outstanding! Loved every minute of it. Oh, and the beauiful shower... I would give 100 points!

Even if one side of the structure overlooks the street, the area is sufficiently quiet and privacy is guaranteed. Inside the apartment we found the necessary for the stay (towels, dishes, detergents...) and we were also given a card to park for free nearby. Mr. Jósef is the owner of the establishment and he is really kind and patient! I recommend the apartment because the experience was very positive 🏡🫶🏻
