Esther and the team did a great job of making us feel right at home. Wonderful care of our 89 year old mother. Breakfast was tasty but a bit chaotic mostly due to other guest.

A wonderful surprise when we opened the door to find a two bedroom suite with sauna and huge bathroom. We went for a walk into old town for some food & when we looked back at the hotel we were amazed to see we had a big balcony as well as a small one. When we got back we opened all the shutters to find we had a third balcony off the second bedroom too. Amazing and felt truly lucky to stay in this suite. Reception lady spoke good English & was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good but the room was rather hot. The planes didn't bother us and it was great seeing them up close on final approach.

Lovely location and excellent food.
Room was comfortable and the view of the sea wonderful. So relaxing. It was October so the hotel was quiet and no fighting for sun beds or tables or drinks. We walked up and down the coast every day in both directions

Old Town Trogir was an old city in the Venetian style, an much smaller than Split, but with many restaurant and bar options on the waterfront. It was also only about 10 minutes from the Split airport, so it is a great place to stay the night before you leave, or if you arrive late at night.

Trogir centre is a classic old Mediterranean town with well preserved architecture which in my view rises well above its modern touristification. It is also a big marine centre. In summer though it gets choked with traffic, come by bus (or ferry from Split in summer only) if you can. There is a frequent bus service from Split and Split airport every day.

Trogir is a small town with a couple of things to see in the very center - the old town. It's small enough that you can just walk around and see everything. We ate burgers at Big Mom's - they were good.

Our stay this time was very short but we liked the atmosphere of the old town. Lots of tourists still but quieter in the evening. walking inside the old town is easy, it is so small that one cannot get totally lost, the sea always lurks at the end of some street. The main road outside the old town is now under repairs, that a litte bit cursed difficulties for walking - but a passing problem! Maybe the walking bridge - which was not in use now - will also be repaired.

I love Trogir, it was my second visit.
I love Trogir, it was my second visit. The city has all these little streets and historical buildings that are very cool to see. The town gets a bit crowded in the evenings, if you want to explore, it's better to do during the day time. There is a number of small museums but they aren't very informative or interesting, I planned two days for the sightseeing and museums but that was too much time.
That said, it's a magical experience walking those cobblestone streets having the city's long history in mind. It's obviously not at the scale of Dubrovnik or Split but it's a lot less crowded.
We had an apartment on the ground floor which was perfect for us. Everything was perfect. If I was to pick a fault it would be no TV reception ( which would have been handy for our 1 rainy evening) Slavia was amazing she is a bonus. The family who owned the property are fantastic, super friendly I cannot recommend this highly enough. A short walk to the old town which is fabulous. This has everything you need for a perfect holiday. A word of warning in Croatia mosquitoes out in force. Take some heavy duty repellent
Palace Central Square was in the heart of Trogir with beautifully appointed accommodations. The communication was timely and clear and the welcome was warm and genuine. We felt safe, comfortable (great air conditioning!), and close to all of the restaurants (with great recommendations) and shops nearby. We had a very spacious room with a small sitting area, and large windows that, when opened, could hear the bells of the nearby St. Lawrence Cathedral - amazing! Thank you Ivan, for such a memorable experience!
Great room in a historic building in the center of old town. Loved that you could open your shutters and hear the sounds of the plaza below--a real European experience. Parking is ok in a lot a few minutes walk away just outside the old town district. The hotel has a deal with the lot for 10 euros per day. I would recommend staying it Trogir and driving into Split. There is a large parking lot just 10 minutes away from the Palace and waterfront in Split.
Ivan and Zeljka (and their children) were amazing hosts! We felt like at home in their apartments. The apartment is beautifully furnished, with modern furniture and appliances, well-equipped kitchen and everything you need. A large terrace overlooks the old town of Trogir, which is about 15 minutes walk down the hill. We would definitely recommend Valjan Apartmani to anyone, especially families with children! Thank you Ivan/Zjelka for your hospitality!
Hotel Brown Beach was so beautiful - everything about it...the building, the reception area, the rooms, the pool, the view..with unique decor. It was one of my favorite hotels that we stayed in while in Croatia. We felt so welcome as we checked in and were greeted with a welcome drink and the staff helped us to get our luggage into our rooms and park our car for the night. The spa was nice and the location to old town was great.
It is situated on the Riva, a waterside promenade which serves as Trogir’s living-room. This is a place to stroll and admire the yachts and small cruise line ships moored there, see the marine traffic in the channel, people watch, and to walk your dog, if you have one. The hotel has a cafe/cocktail bar in front with comfortable seating. Breakfast takes place there in the morning, allowing you to enjoy the Riva.
The hotel is in a good position in Trogir, where it is quite quiet. The hotel staff is extremely friendly, always available to guests and always ready to help. They try hard to make every guest feel comfortable. This is really a hotel that I can recommend to everyone, I am sure I will stay at the Bellevue Hotel again. I travel a lot, but I have never experienced this kind of treatment and kindness anywhere.
We missed our flight out of Split and only stayed one night, but it was a perfect place to relax. We had such a stressful afternoon, but we were greeted with a smile and a glass of prosecco! Grand hotel with top notch service and delicious breakfast. Very comfortable beds and although it's in the path, you hear nothing inside the hotel. We would stay again. Trogir is lovely.
Great location, easy short walk to restaurants, bars, beaches and supermarkets. The apartment was lovely and spacious and had everything we needed including a fantastic view. The surrounding area is beautiful, we were very impressed with Trogir, Duga, Okrug Gornji and Krka I will come back to explore more of Croatia and would be happy to book accommodation with Alison again.
Marina was a most hospitable host. Unfortunately we hadn't updated our intended arrival time as our travel plans changed at short notice, but she handled our slightly earlier arrival as promptly as possible. The apartment was superb in every way, and I loved the fig and olive trees at the front door as so emblematic of the Croatian countryside.
We come to Croatia 3 times a year and always stay here on the return journey. Rooms are extremely comfortable and clean. Staff are great and close proximity to split airport. Big bonus: the restaurant at the marina is excellent. Some of the best food in Croatia.
Very friendly hosts, great location, the apartments themselves are not impressive, but the most important thing in Croatia is the terrace :)
Further from the street, but only about 100 m to the beach. The beach is quiet, not many people.
Lovely apartment. Very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Our host took care of us brilliantly including taking all our bags to their sister hotel in Trogir old town until our flight home. Highly recommend Apartments Liam.
This is a lovely little hotel in an excellent location, both in the town and in the Croatia coast. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the whole atmosphere is calm and relaxed.
Definitely a 5 star boutique hostel, best in Croatia, amazingly comfortable, hotel like toilets, walk in showers, great design, very central, spotless cleanliness, with great staff. My absolute recommendation!!!!!
What a fabulous hotel in a wonderful place-Trogir. The manager of the hotel was the best of the best. Breakfast was wonderful and dinner at the hotel’s restaurant even better!
