Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. We enjoyed seeing the animals. The staff was attentive.

Situated in Agrigento, 30 km from Heraclea Minoa, Agriturismo La Casa di Bacco features accommodation with pool with a view, free private parking, free bikes and a garden. Peacefull place. Lovely people running the farm. Food was super, highly recommend the dinner and wine. It was easy to find if you follow the instructions that you will get after the booking. The road was not bad.

The most wonderful accommodation we've ever had in Sicily! The villa is amazingly beautiful, we only wish we spent more time there, as it's the most beautiful place in Agrigento, better than any attractions or the city center. Agrigento in itself is not that amazing, what's most worth it is the Valley of the Temples which can also be accessed from the villa, but illegally, as the villa is located within the park. So you can reach the middle of the park, without going through security checks and tickets office. You could also pay online though, and go. As we only stayed one day, and came by car, we chose the legal way: parked the car at Gate V, took the 3 EUR per person taxi to the other start and only walked the way back (2,5 hour promenade). This was also recommended by our lovely host. Lovely views of the temples from the villa too! The hosts at Villa San Marco are all incredibly kind, helpful, but also not intrusive or too talkative, giving you intimacy. It's a family business, they all live there in the big villa, but only the breakfast area and the pool are common areas, as you have your own room with separate entrance, outside the big amazing villa. Delicious homemade breakfast! Don't get discouraged by the terrible country road to the villa, starting at the Q8 gas station, about 1,5 km long. We were pretty terrified on our first way there, but as our host said, only the first time is traumatising. :) Then you get used to it, and if you drive slowly, you can safely pass back and forth as many times as needed. LOVED IT!!! Would return to Agrigento simply for one more night at this wonderful accommodation.

Set in beautiful countryside less than 1km from Piazza Armerina, Villa Trigona is an 18th-century building with large gardens, where you can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere and numerous sports. It’s like stepping into an oasis! The grounds are well maintained and the staff couldn’t be nicer. We opted for the dinner (be ready for a BIG meal!). It was super delicious and so much more personal than eating in a restaurant. The owner goes the extra mile, including helping me repair my sunglasses. Great experience.

La Pietra di Giada has a balcony and is located in Siracusa, within just 600 metres of Porto Piccolo and 1.6 km of Tempio di Apollo. very helpful, pleasant, and responsive host, spacious and beautiful property with full set of dinnerware, kitchenware and supplies (everything we needed was there and a few more extras, like the breakfast food), walking distance to attractions, good wi-fi signal, nice balcony

Set in the centre of Siracusa, Al Settimo porta marina offers accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. We really enjoyed our stay at Al Settimo porta marina. Flat is very cosy and charmy. Location is perfect with all the spots and amenities what Ortigia can offer just at your doorstep. Owner is very friendly and helpful (He even helped us finding free parking when we arrived and drove back to the apartment) We would definitely come back. Thank you Vinzenzo.

Boasting inner courtyard views, Casa vacanze donna Pina features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 500 metres from Palermo Cathedral. Perfect location (within less than 5 minutes from the main street, via Maqueda), clean and well-furnished. Kind and friendly staff. The mattresses were really comfortable and the shower was fantastic! There was an AC unit in every room. There was everything necessary in the apartment, including a big bottle of water, some drinks, and plenty of coffee. There was even a washing machine and a dryer with a mono dose of washing detergent. It’s one of the best places we’ve ever stayed!
