The small wooden cabin was very cozy and comfortable, quiet enough and had everything you need (a small fridge, a table inside and outside, a TV, hair dryer, etc). The host was also very nice, responsive to messages and made sure we are good. The location is great, just outside of the small village of Cartisoara, on the famous Transfagarasan road.
Quietly located in Cartisoara, 200 metres from the Transfagarasan Highway, the traditionally-decorated Casa Mosului features rooms with free WiFi.

The rustic look, nice garden, friendly staff and excellent breakfast made our stay here very pleasant. Will definitely keep this location on our list for future trips.

It was a perfect stop-over before our day trip along Transfagarasan highway!
Nice place.
I would like to correct my review of pinsinea Pastavul:
I made a mistake in my previous rating "1" of Pastaravul because the correct rating should be "3" as it has many positive features.
Booking please correct my previous review as I don't want to hurt their business.
Thank you,
Tony
The environment is amazing, regardless of the weather conditions we encountered.
Our stay at the hotel and the whole experience was brought to perfection because of our host Eli.
An amazing guide and a friend that was always around, and take a good care of our needs.
Even more, as strangers visiting Romania, she was kind enough to get familiar with our route and suggest some "hidden gems" of the region that now we are going to visit.
Thank you Eli🥰
The host speaks English very well and was wonderful. We didn't find the place and he saw our location on the map and drove to our place to bring us. He was very kind and helpful. The kitchen is great. We cooked and ate there and kept our cold things in the fridge.
One should note that in some waze and Google maps program the place is written "cartisoara" and not "cirtisoara". Not in all waze programs you could find casa Simone.
It was very beautiful and tasty decorated. It was warm and welcoming. I loved the hot water in a freezing winter day. The hostess was gracious, polite, and welcoming. I thought I took the wrong turn so she came in the snow to find me. I had some very noisy room neighbors, and she solved the problem. You will find toothbrushes and nice smelling soap and sleepers like in a hotel. The matress is comfy, and the blanket is thick.
The hotel is a good spot to stay the night and start the next morning on the Transfagarasan road. Balea lake is 45-minute drive, and you can get there before the crowds arrive. This place had good lemonade and the best omelette I had all week at different breakfast places in hotels in Romania.
We really enjoyed our one night here. The rooms were basic but very clean and with a great view from the balcony. The swimming pool was great and you can use it free if staying at the hotel. The staff were all lovely.
The hotel is in a beautiful setting on the side of a river. Large rooms, spotlessly clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It isn't the cheapest place in the area, but well worth the extra money
Eli was amazing. I was so worried about transfers to the hotel. She arranged all the transfers perfectly and more. She made my experience outstanding. It was truly a once in a lifetime adventure.
