The hotel is quite new and the rooms larger than a standard Japanese hotel typically offers. The bathroom was great but the best was when I looked out the window to a GREAT view of Fukuyama Castle. The onsen/spa was beautiful and really was beyond what I expected all around. Check-out was completed easily with the digital kiosk and many language options were available. There is a mall nearby, a traditional 50s, 60s type shopping quarter too, and Fukuyama Station itself has a lot of stores and restaurants, so you can get anything you need. There is also a full grocery store on the B1 floor a couple of steps from the hotel, and an Animate as well for anyone interested in Japanese manga and gamer culture.

A nice seasonal touch. The room was large and the hot water shower/soaking tub was wonderful. There were plenty of outlets for all our chargers. Its a great option in Tomonoura as it is in town rather than down the road, so everything is walkable. Shuttle service from Fukuyama station is very convenient. Staff were very helpful and their service was excellent.
