The room was small but had everything we needed plus a kettle (the water had a lot of calcium. we washed it with a sponge but it just accumulated again). Had a mini fridge which was good for those days when you just want to fall in bed but need to eat. It was good for keeping a couple of sandwiches cool. Which we got from the lidl next door. The room was good. Clean. The sheets were clean. The cleaning staff were careful and seemed attentive. If you are renting a car and doing day trips it is a great location not too far from the highway. We only did this one day. For a family with kids and renting a car it is perfect or for a good night rest on your way somewhere else it is perfect and good value. Close to a supermarket (lidl) and lots of parking space. For seeing verona maybe not unless it's just a one day thing.

A darling of Shakespeare, beautiful Verona is the literary home of Romeo and Juliet. The medieval families of Montague and Capulet immortalized in the tragic play did actually exist and some buildings relating to the Montagues are still present.
Sorry to disappoint, but the place purporting to have been Juliet's house in Verona was not actually where she lived. However, it’s still worth suspending reality for a while and stepping out onto the balcony to see if Romeo turns up.
Another of the must-see Verona sights is the Arena, a largely intact Roman amphitheater which is now the spectacular setting for outdoor summer operas. Smaller Roman relics include the stone bridge that crosses the river by the Roman theater whose remains are partly beneath a house.
The city’s narrow streets house many cafes and restaurants which have cheaper fare than the touristy ones by the Arena, although admittedly the views are less impressive. Life in Verona is laid back and elegant, so expect to see some well-heeled Italians on a post-dinner passeggiata.
Verona Airport is a little out of town, so you’ll need to take a bus to get to your Verona hotel, apartment or B&B. Book with Booking.com for the best choice.

It was awesome to meet with family and Verona was the perfect location as it is small and you get to walk and go to nearby lakes and spend the day with dear ones. We ate at a lovely restaurant IL PUNTO ROSA. the food is awesome and the service is excellent. They also have great desserts and very reasonable prices. We loved it!!
The attractions are easy to get to. Has very lively piazzas and very nice people. Yes, Verona is nice to go but you must get a nice bed and a nice home made breakfast.

Venezia is 1.30 mins by train and costs only 10-11 euro per person.
Garda lake was not bad. We visited Lezise and Bardolino and had a good time. We eat 100% outside and the food was amazing. Dinner for 3 of us costed 70-130 euro depends of the restaurant.

Plenty to see in the old town centre.
Plenty to see in the old town centre. The arena is a must and seeing an opera in there must be quite a sight. I ate in the main square but it wasn't too expensive which is different to a lot of places. They make a lot of the R+J connections but even without that, there is plenty of real historical stuff to be surrounded by. I would have liked to have gone up the main tower but it was a national holiday so the hours were limited and I had to get off on my travels.

A stunning historic city with beautiful piazzas, squares and monuments. Was very crowded in April so I imagine would be hard to navigate in high summer, as a lot of the streets are very narrow. Public transport isn't great, just local buses which are cheap (1.50e a ticket) but difficult to figure out. Castel San Pietro was a highlight, with stunning view across the city and a good value funicular (only 3.00e).
Also, the Arena was only 3.00e to access when we were there because it was partly under renovation. This was excellent value for what is a truly amazing ancient Roman site.
I do not give 10’s lightly, but this place deserved it. All communication was immediate and helpful. The premises were spotless. The bathroom was twice the usual size and completely modern. The free parking space was next door to the modern building. An outdoor patio was available and the wifi was fine. He even supplied an assortment of cold drinks/beer at nominal cost (1 euro) in a small cooler in the common area. And the apt was decorated in a stylish way. This was easily one of the nicest places I have stayed at in Italy.
Second time stay at the Hotel Verona. Very friendly, helpful staff at reception. This time I had the buffet-style continental breakfast, which was very adequate.
Lovely room on first floor, clean, comfy, great shower ....
The hotel is in a great location, around a 10 min walk to Porta Nuova train station and less than that to get to Piazza Bra and the Arena ( and shops ).
When checking-out I asked for a cab ( to go direct to the airport ) and it arrived before I had said " Arrivederci" to staff.
The location was perfect! It is on a quiet street but right next to all the action- in the center of town. The rooms were very comfortable and the owners are super accommodating! She provided wine and snack upon arrival, which was a great way to welcome guests to the new city!
The bed was the most comfortable bed we had in Italy so far PLUS they had an AC unit so we have a very comfortable sleep.
I would highly recommend anyone visiting Verona to stay here.
The room was very large and had everything we needed. It actually had a few American outlets which would be nice if you needed it. Most rooms in Italy do not which is why I am noting that. It has that old Italian charm vibe. An amazing location for shopping and sight seeing. Staff let us late checkout and keep our car in the garage after checkout so we could do some more shopping.
Very lovely and comfortable place, definitely our favorite hotel from our 10-day trip through Italy! We loved every single detail. Having breakfast in the terrace was a big plus! Anna and Roman were very friendly and accommodating, even though we didn't have the chance to meet in person. There is a kitchen available with everything needed, including water, coffee, tea, etc.
Was very comfortable staying at this place.
Very clean bathroom,it’s very selten in Italy…
We were liking interior of whole hotel, very nice Olive Garden outside.
Parking are belongings to the hotel, very comfortable, not need reservation.
Animal friendly!!!
And of course the owner of this place and his little dog!
Thank you for our comfortable staying!
The Palazzo Monga Boutique was an excellent hotel for our wonderful stay in beautiful Verona. It is centrally located with stunning suits and the staff were outstanding with their service and friendliness to any request or advice we required.
Our main point of contact was with Arthur and we were beyond pleased with his assistance.
Thank you.
I loved the location and the design and the room was quite big and comfortable . Overall is a great hotel in an amazing location but being one of the 2 most expensive hotels in Verona a was expecting a little bit more being also a 5 star hotel. Staff was nice and available but was missing that familiarity you expect from an exceptional stay.
Amazing host, super kind and helpful: he allowed us an early check in and was super communicative all the stay. The house is huge, charming and clean. Loved the location, super close to city centre but in a quieter area, easier to find parking and nice. During Vinitaly where the entire city goes crazy this is a little gem!
10 to 15 minute walk to the city center and 5 minute from the train station. It costs less than 30 EUR or 15 minutes from the Verona Airport. The hotel has an inside parking. Breakfast was very good and hotel people are all friendly. It is a value for money hotel.
Nice hotel. Arrived late due to 2 hour delay at airport. Phoned emergency number. No issues gaining access. Norman on reception was extremely helpful with an issue we encountered and tried his utmost to resolve. He alone deserves 5 stars..,
well appointed, well decorated rooms with a luxurious feel. lovely breakfast, fresh, everything warm, (nothing in wrapped plastic — a plus for italy as too often this is standard practice). completely charming and just right on all levels.
Location is excellent, we didn't need to drive down any narrow alleys because the hotel is along the river. This also seemed to help with our room being quiet in the evening. Our host was helpful and provided a good map of Verona.
Amazing and spacious apartment, full of details and so comfortable that I wanted to stay and live there. Would come back to Verona just to stay here! It is a perfect house for vacations in the north of Italy.
Quirky and fun hotel. staff outstanding in particular Matt and Roxana. Great location 10 min walk from centre and 20 min walk to bus and train station which has superb links to explore more of Italy.
This hotel was so beautiful! And a perfect location for exploring Verona. The bathroom was a nice luxury as well. Great rain shower! And a little view of the Arena from our room!
Location! So close to Verona train station, also a very easier 10 min walk from airport transfer bus stop (outside Verona train station) to hotel. 10/15 mins into Verona centre.
