A fantastic hotel in rustic alpine style in the center of the village. This means that you have access to some nice small shops just outside the hotel (and restaurants if needed). It is a couple of hundred meters to the ski lifts but the hotel has a great shuttle service that takes you there in less than 5 minutes. You just need to make sure you book a time slot with the reception. Our comfort room was large and with good storage. The beds were really comfortable and the staff rearranged the bedding to better suit me and my son. Nice large bathroom. The staff is absolutely top class, 10/10, everyone from the reception, the lady in the SPA, cleaners. Special thanks to the restaurant and bar staff who were super friendly, helpful and made the extra effort to make us feel at home. A special thanks also to the shuttle bus driver who had some minor issues with our long all mountain skis but managed it great. The SPA is also really nice with a sauna, steam bath, pool and a relaxation area after a full day of skiing. Again you need to book an hour time slot but that makes sure it does not get crowded. We would definitely consider staying here again if/when we come back to La Thuile.

Spa and access were excellently organised and perfect ambience. Breakfast excellent - maybe a little too many cakes! Bar and canapes were really very good.

Love this place! Been twice before (2007 and 2018) in ski season so this was our first stay in summer. The hotel has modernised and grown over the years but still the same friendly reception.

Incredible kindness of owners. Having found ourselves stuck in La Thuile with only our ski gear (that’s another story), we discovered Hotel Du Glacier through Booking.com. The owners sorted out our restaurant booking (fabulous meal), provided us with shoes, toiletries, slippers etc. Nice homely hotel, and excellent breakfast selection with fresh bread and coffee. Friendly and helpful check in staff, lovely breakfast, reception and restaurant areas were very nice and boot room well equipped with boot driers.
