The town was lovely. Friendly people. Would recommend going during peak times if you want to explore more of the town. Most things are not available during April. I wanted to do the 3island tour but went off peak time so that was not available. The town is lovely you can walk around everywhere. Don’t book transfer take the local bus it’s 3.50euros. A lot cheaper. Transfer from hotel is a rip off. The cabs do take card out there as well. Defo go to the hamam aretmis that was really good.

Lively Kos Town is a tourist destination.
Lively Kos Town is a tourist destination. If you are looking to do the three Islands cruise in 1 day, do it, but book down at the harbour rather through an agent or your hotel. Rather than paying 38 Euros per person, we got it for 20 Euros.
We received some great restaurant recommendations from the wonderful staff at the Diamond Boutique Hotel. We found the best restaurants were a couple streets back from the harbour restaurants.

There are a lot of interesting ancient sites and monuments (greek, roman and medieval).
It was very pleasant cycling along the coast to Tigaki beach (with hire bikes) for sunbathing and a leisurely lunch and then around the salt lake, to see the small flock of flamingos in residence there.
The town itself is a very popular tourist spot for families with lots of facilities.

Kos town at night was lovely.
Kos town at night was lovely.
Lots of ancient sites to see. but quite a few recommendations in our guide book (2022) are closed
The Mosque in the main square is fenced off and looks as if it has been that way for quite some time. The area around Hippocrates Tree is also fenced off and almost derelict which was a shame.
Good restaurants away from harbour, especially Iannos, and Ali.

Kos town is busy and vibrant. Some historical sights to see.
Kos town is busy and vibrant. Some historical sights to see. Lots of bars/cafes and quaint shops. Love the tree lined streets. The harbour is lovely…. especially feeding the fish! Many boat trips available to other islands and ferries to Turkey. Long promenade ….. walked from Kos to Psalidi. Enjoyed the vibe as visited in October so probably not as busy as high season. Fairly flat so easy to access for anyone with mobility issues. Many and varied places to eat.

It is a very beautiful city where history, sun, sea and good food come together. It is very close to Turkey and can be easily visited. If planned well, you can easily go anywhere on the island by public buses. Especially Zia and Asklepion should be seen.
Excellent quality (refurbished only 1 year ago). Room was spacious and very clean. My wife had spinal surgery about 10 years ago and she was very happy with the bed being extremely comfortable. Staff were very friendly and easy going. Right on beachfront. Easy stroll into Kos town centre and lots of eateries. We went in April (Easter Weekend), it was quiet and there were plenty of shops and restaurants open (the rest were just beginning to get ready to open for the summer).
We absolutely loved the apartment, it was clean, comfortable, and well appointed with lots of thoughtful touches to enhance our stay. Petros was a very welcoming and helpful host who went beyond the norm to make sure our stay went well. Combine all of that with a location just a few minutes walk from the heart of Kos Town, and we can't imagine there being a better place to stay on Kos.
The hotel’s location is very convenient; 10 minutes walk to the harbour and Kos center, many choices of good restaurants, cafes around and fabulous views of sea in front. The rooms are large, modern furnished and perfectly clean. Marina, the GM of the hotel reccomended us a lot about the island which made our trip excellent.
The hotel is in center of Kos Island, almost everywhere is walking distance. The room was big enough, cleaning service was taking care of rooms everyday and the breakfast was very rich! We spent time in the rooftop pool until the check-in hour and the bartender in there is very friendly too.
Accommodated our request for higher floor. Apartment was absolutely spotless. Fantastic situation within walking distance of Kos town centre and beautiful views over the sea to Turkey. Excellent communication from owner and lots of information for things to do and restaurant recommendations
Staff is very helpful all the time. They also help in suggesting places to see, go and eat. Rooms, the building and the facilities are clean and the overall hygiene is good. Quite good location in Kos town - walking distance to most facilities. Breakfast is good with a variety of choices.
I am truly, positive speachless about this hotel. Its very good location in the heart of KOS town. Stunnig, friendly hotel staff without the fake attitude and the whole hotel is so clean, tidy and modern. The breakfast choice will satisfy everyone! One of the best hotels on Kos!
It was very central, it took you like 15 min to the beach and the city centre.
The whole hotel is just beautiful with all the little details, especially the rooms.
And the personal was so lovely and nice.
It’s worth it. And If I ever visit Kos again, it’s the hotel for me.
We were given room 124 which had a huge terrace area. Bed was huge and extremely comfortable. This is our third hotel in Greece and The air con was the best we have had. The location is also fantastic
Special mention to the staff who were incredibly helpful and friendly
quiet hotel, comfortable standard rooms, nice buffet breakfast, near to the centre, perfect if you need to stay in town or wait for a ferry. The staff , from the waitress in the kitchen to the reception has always been very pleasant and kind. Smile.
Excellent hotel in the centre of Kos town, near the old town, tavernas and restaurants. Absolutely clean and comfortable beds, good breakfast and friendly service!! Thank you greatly for the wonderful stay!!!!
Fantastic place to stay and centrally located to visit all parts of the island. We liked too that it was a very short drive into Kos town. The house has everything you could possibly need and then some!
You definitely get what you pay for, we paid a small price compared to other all inclusive week stays we have had in Greece. Beach set up is really nice. Good selection of drinks/cocktails
Everything is excellent. Next summer I will visit with my wife without any delay. Everybody helpfull and always smile. Hotel's location near everywhere in centre.
