Nice Small City for a weekend retreat, however if you want to extend the stay, the explore nearby cities, and ample options available to explore from Beautiful City Views with rich history to mountains and snow on the other end. Food is good, and if you try local food made by locals in remote areas of Georgia, i am sure you will remember it for a very long time. If i go again, food in the mountains would be a primary reason.

Tbilisi is a nice city with interesting buildings old and new. Good restaurants with very good local wines. People are friendly and we felt safe. In general is not expensive , good hotels don’t need to be expensive. There’s a good selection of things to see like the monastery and things to do like wine tasting. I recommend you to visit.

Great food and wine options, however the city is quite dirty and there is lots of graffiti. People drive like mad here as well. Worth a visit, but maybe for 5 days at most. If you want to stay longer it would probably be best to rent a car and drive out of the city to explore the rest of the country.

Tbilisi was great and we would come here again.
Tbilisi was great and we would come here again. It has everything that a traveler might want; history, art, parks, food, wine, night life. You should come here during a long weekend to also taste the nightlife properly. 3 days is enough but if you do more days, I recommend day-trip tours to close by destinations like the wineries and mountains. Don't miss the sulfur bath experience.

Everything was very expensive. Didn't like the food.
Everything was very expensive. Didn't like the food. People gazed a lot at foreigners. Terrible behavior at the airport (they make ladies with hijab to take off their scarf right at the center of the airport while they make everyone put scarves at their own churches). Impolite and racist airport security officers.
We liked the Botanical Garden and Holy Trinity Cathedral.

This is a very beautiful city with great atmosphere.
This is a very beautiful city with great atmosphere.
The local food is good, the restaurant are budget friendly.
The center of town is charming.
Taxis are super cheap so you can use it easily (Use bolt).
Hotel is really well located, there are many iconic landmarks nearby, including the Holy Trinity Cathedral, the Metekhi Church, and the Old Town. The breakfast buffet featured delicious Georgian and international dishes. The rooftop terrace is beautiful!
To sum up this hotel has nice location, comfortable rooms, good service, and delicious food created a truly memorable experience for us. We would highly recommend Reikartz Avlabari Tbilisi to anyone seeking a good place for a family trip in the heart of Tbilisi.
I had a great stay at Merci, the family is very welcoming and authentic. They arranged my transfer from and to the airport and helped me book a tour during my stay. I learnt so much about the culture and history of Georgia talking to them, it was much better than a standard hotel. Nana is the best cook and the morning breakfast was delicious.
Location is ideal, 5 minutes walk to stores and supermarkets. You'll need a taxi to visit the old Tbilisi. I'd happily book with them again if I returned to Tbilisi
Really impressed with the internet speed, huge balcony and neat room!!! The breakfast was a good selection and there was something new to expect in food everyday. Also the staffs were always smiling greeting and helping whenever needed. There is an amazing Georgian restaurant in walking distance called Khinkali house as well as a Thai restaurant if you like Asian food. If you are remote worker and want a quiet place not very far from the center, this hotel will be ideal.
The hotel was very clean every nook and corner. The breakfast was very good with few Georgian local food included. Behind the hotel itself is lane of many Restuarant with different cuisines- Mexican, Asian, Arabic, Chinese and Georgian as well. There a walkable distance Carrefour supermarket for any necessities shopping. There are parks across and behind the hotel.
Most of attractions are near by and walkable.
Very nice modern hotel.. It's more than just hotel room, it's apartment with all facilities..
I like the design of the hotel..
Location is the best in Tbilisi.. If you have a car like me location is perfect better than staying in old town and stuck in traffic..
Very close to Tbilisi mall and near Mtskheta
For Muslims you can find a gem difficult to see it in Georgia, yes there was a hand shower (shattaf) 😉
The hotel is located in the old city center and offers a breathtaking view. You have your breakfast with a view over Tbilisi old city center.
The room was very spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful and kind, because we were busy with wedding preparations they allowed us to check out a little bit later and provided us with Georgian specialities.
highly recommends!
It's a nice new hotel, rooms are big and everything planned well inside. I took it for the last night in Tbilisi to be closer to the airport. Surprisingly enough the Old city is approx.7 minutes walk and 3 minutes from Metro station if somebody is interested. Behind the big building near metro I found a simple but very tasty Georgian restaurant. Cheap, tasty, big portions!
The hotel is at the center, the owners and staff are amazing people. Supper friendly the offer me a coffee and show me videos about history of Georgia dance.
I was having doubts in the beginning being a black woman from Nigeria if I will able to find friends or if the local will be nice to me. They show me true love ! And I will be happy to visit again.
It was our first time in Tbilisi & Georgia. To be honest, I was in between Fabrika and Makmani while booking and really happy about my final decision. Location was great, hotel is within walking distance to many attractions, restaurants, cafes… Breakfast was really good and staff was also super helpful. I strongly recommend Makmani for your Tiflis stay.
It is a really good place for a not-long stay in Tbilisi. We appreciated the peaceful location near the mountains in the centre of downtown, clean room, big comfortable bed and almost new bathroom staff. We got a discount from Booking that is why it was the best value for money. The vintage style of this family hotel helps feel a real Georgian vibe.
After staying at several different hotels in Georgia, Sololaki Lounge felt like home. Perfectly clean, with a very warm welcome from the staff and a great breakfast, located in the very center close to anything you would like to see in Tbilisi. Every room is carefully designed in a unique way, and it feels like staying inside of an art piece.
The hotel is located very well, there are a lot of restaurants (especially nice places inside renovated Orbeliani Bazaar), within 10 minutes you can get to the National art gallery and Georgian museum. I also really liked the stylish interior, the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast is amazing. And the stuff very helpful and responsive.
Central location in old Town city centre very close to Freedom Square. Very clean and comfortable home. Friendly elderly lady who is an exceptional host. Nika communicates promptly via Booking. This is a home stay experience with a traditional Georgian couple. Local experience with a beautiful family. Highly recommend!
I recently stayed at this hotel for three nights, and it was awesome! The rooms were spacious and super comfy. The breakfast at Saffron restaurant was top-notch, especially thanks to Sepehr, who was so friendly and knew a lot about the food, especially the Georgian dishes. I highly recommend this hotel!
Cozy hotel in a good quiet location in the center, has kitchen and washing machine for the guests, a small swimming pool in the courtyard and very nice rooms with French windows ). Ask for the rooms at the second floor (1st floor in Georgia) with street view!
In Georgia, I stayed in a dozen different hotels. This was at the top of my list of all-time favorite experiences. Thank you so much for your hospitality, even though it was self-service. Of course, I'll return!!!
Beautifully decorated and modern rooms. Super helpful and friendly staff. We actually ended up booking this hotel twice because we loved it so much and it was the best we found in Georgia. Highly recommend
The staff were very helpful and kind. The rooms were clean. We loved the attention to details in this hotel. The restaurant at the rooftop provided the best food we had in Georgia, highly recommended.
The apartment is great! The hotel is located in the busiest city center street, where you can experience the authentic Georgian atmosphere. The hotel owner is very nice, highly recommended!
Hotel at Gomi 19 is very clean, comfortable and simple but with all the basics and the staff is very welcoming and warm. They are Georgians of everyone’s fondest dreams.
