Right next to the station, with friendly staff and a good restaurant. I was in an attic conversion at the top of the building, which was quiet, with sloping ceilings.

Everything wasn’t what we expected. Didn’t sleep for 2 nights cause of the sofa was terrible uncomfortable, not oven to cook something, tv wasn’t working on the arrival. The owners was aware that we where 2 adults and 2 children, they should give us a proper property

Saint-Omer is close enough to not be too much of a challenge to get there yet, French enough to experience the local life. Lots of history, nice walks, good food and excellent cafés and bars. A Saturday market, a lovely park, friendly people and just a place we love to go to whenever we need to relax.

Lots of side streets and little shops, beautiful central square with a stunning theatre building. Very pleasant to wander around. The station building was particularly impressive. We stayed at chic o rail, which has a restaurant serving absolutely delicious food.

St Omer is a beautiful town with lots of interesting buildings and culture. There are nice restaurants. The canals and eco system that are now a Unesco heritage site are really amazing and worth visiting on a small boat trip.

The hotel is in the centre of the town, surrounded by lots of nice restaurants.
There is a courtyard car park, in a one way street, with a narrow entrance, which is difficult if a car is parked opposite.
We only had one night there, but wouldn’t like to stay at that hotel any longer, as the bedroom was uncomfortably small and dated. Open the bathroom door and you have to squeeze past the toilet, which is in the doorway.

Great to return though lots of building work going on.
Great to return though lots of building work going on. A must visit is the deli on the main square - Maison Wident - which provides meals to dine en place but also take away- great value. Also great restaurant just around the corner from the Ibis hotel- Le St Charles.
The gardens have been upgraded since we were last there and were very pleasant to wander around. The Auchan supermarket has great produce and the Paul cafe is great for breakfast.

This is a fairly typical northern France city with lots of nice walks and especially some lovely gardens. It is pretty and generally quite neat and clean.
The cathedral is impressive and when we visited full of life with a recital of medieval music. Otherwise there is not much outstanding but it is a good place to stay for a night. We were en route to Le Shuttle early the next morning and it is very close for the early start we needed
We booked through booking.com, and wanted somewhere to stay near to the channel tunnel. Not much availability, apart from this hotel. When we arrived we parked in the square, and as it was weekend there was no charge. The room though not large was perfectly adequate, bathroom small but again adequate and it was all very clean. The bed was very comfortable, with lovely white sheets. I would certainly stay there again. Breakfast was typically French with delicious bread and croissants.
The hotel is in an ideal position. Situated at the top of Saint Omer city centre. Our room was of average size, considering the price we felt it rather small. The toilet and bathroom were well appointed and very good.. Everything else felt rather cramped.
In the evening we could not sit in the hotel as all the tables had been let out to people who wanted to eat. No chance to relax with a drink with a friend.. Not Good
Great location, right in the heart of St Omer.
Very easy check in.
Nice room, spacious.
The host helped us with finding a vet. When the shower wasn't working in our room he offered me the key to a neighbouring room so I could use the shower there.
Weekends and holidays there is free parking right outside the hotel. I'm not sure where the nearest free parking would be weekdays.
Interesting accommodation - 18th century house full of objects d'art, pictures etc. Lovely décor in our room. Location was good, just near centre of town, and within 45 mins of ferry port. Plenty of parking nearby. Host was very welcoming and gave us info on free parking and useful info on where to eat in the evening. We had a very enjoyable evening in St Omer and a good dinner.
Exceptional host. Comfortable beds and very good breakfast (including home made cake). Location a 2 minute walk from St Omer's square. We stayed two nights and would have liked to have made it longer.
Room was very clean and had tea making facilities. Room and house beautifully furnished. Host recommended us several things to do in the town (e.g. the Rubens in the cathedral.)
This has been our go-to hotel in Saint-Omer since it opened over 30 years ago and we have never been disappointed. It has always represented good value for money, with friendly and helpful service and a tasty breakfast to set us on our way. Centrally located with street parking close by, Les Frangins makes a convenient overnight stop just inland from the channel ports.
Everything was fantastic and we had a wonderful night at this lovely hotel.
It was comfortable and clean. The bedroom and shower were great. car parking was good and reasonably priced. Dinner and breakfast were excellent.
This hotel met all our needs when travelling by car (parking available). The restaurant in the hotel is good and the facility is very clean and tidy. As a Mercure hotel, the rooms are of a good standard.
Saint Omer is a great find. We have often driven past but this is a real gem. The hotel is at the centre, close to the attractions and some great restaurants.
Had a pleasant surprise with this hotel, very close to a lovely park which for my dog, was really important. The room was clean and comfy, nice and quiet.
