I can not say anything bad about this hotel. Everything is just top notch. I wish I stayed longer than a night. I definitely want to and will be back.
Sara at the front desk was a gem. She really helped us out with everything, she was very kind and patient the whole time. There was a car and tuk tuk option as a form of transpiration, which was very helpful. The rest of the stuff was kind as well.

I liked the staff, they are friendly. I liked the room because it has air conditioning and they were able to get a car for me to go to the airport for a fair price. The exterior of the hotel, as in the common area is also nice and lots of places to sit.

Unlike Cairo, Aswan is much slower paced and people are much nicer. The city has several historical sites, temples, and islands. The views and food are amazing. I’m skipping Cairo on my next trip to Egypt and coming straight to Aswan and Luxor.

Tombs of the Nobles were really neat if you can make it over to the other bank. Watch out for the camel guys there though. We got roped into $50 camel rides.
Aswan was probably our least favorite stop in Egypt. Harassment by salespeople was higher here than at the Great Pyramids, and much higher than Luxor! We couldn't walk anywhere at anytime of the day without a salesperson walking with us for several blocks. And as soon as they were done, someone else would take over. Its too bad, I think the corniche could be a really pretty walk!

Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
Everyone was so friendly and helpful.
I didn’t realize that the hotel was undergoing a little construction. It looked like they were upgrading their ramp. This meant we had to carry our bags up the stairs to the lobby.
The property is beautiful and has a terrific view of the town and we could see the Nile from our room. The restaurant was very good- we had dinner there.
BTW the construction noise never bothered us. We couldn’t hear it at all.

If you are doing the Initiatic path, Elephantine Island is so perfect. We stayed at Mango Tree (feel like exotic move stars) and Nubian Dreams (also a restaurant but we scored their top floor room and that is super fun) We also stayed at Nubian Palace, oh my gosh. Take a little private ferry and go to that place. Its so memorable. Philae temple was set up from our host at Nubian Palace (which we usually never do but she is a badass and handles it so you don't have to negotiate to and from the ferry marina) Stay on the west bank. Never the east. Its so loud and full of hustle. The west bank is like real Egypt. Lovely. Easy to start the temple path to Abu Simbel by hopping on a local large bus. Fun, cheap, easy. (Its a little more coming back but its all very cheap so be nice and accept the system) From here you can take a train, bus or private taxi to Kom Ombo and Edfu as you make your way to Luxor. (ALSO STAY ON THE WEST BANK in luxor) What a lovely quiet and profoundly spiritual adventure.
This is a great place to stay in Aswan. The room is nice with comfortable beds. The facilities are clean and the shower has plenty of hot water. Ahmed was a fantastic host, doing everything to make sure we had a good stay. He provided extra blankets when it was cold and a hair dryer. He also arranged a great trip to Abu Simbel for us. We would certainly stay again. A very good place to eat, only five minutes walk away, with excellent, freshly cooked Egyptian food is Kana Kato.
We loved being immersed in the community, stepping out the door to local markets and restaurants was so much fun. We are a family of 4 and had the second floor to ourselves which was clean, spacious and comfortable. Mustafa was amazing, always making sure we were comfortable and organised for all our sightseeing at great prices. I don’t think our stay in Aswan would have been the same staying anywhere else. A real gem for our Egypt experience.
Set in a quiet Nubian village on the West Bank of Aswan you feel a world away from the busyness of so much of Egyptian cities. We spent so much time just sitting on the river bank with local kids, animals and watching the boats sail past. The staff were fantastic, catering to food and trip requests with slow easy pace, making sure we were comfortable. Currently undergoing renovations but will be our place to stop next time we visit Aswan.
Mohamad the owner is a true star. He went above and beyond for us booking all the activities we needed at a competitive price and with honest people. The house itself and it's nice and cosy and has a beautiful terrace overlooking the Nile bits conveniently located a few meters away from the dock and breakfast is very good and comes in generous portions (typical Egyptian breakfast)
Recommended 100%
Everything. The location(5min drive to Railway Stn and downtown. The room, the service, the comfort and especially the staff. Shadi was the receptionist for me and he was the best receptionist in my entire trip to Egypt and not just Aswan. He was courteous, helpful, polite, always smiling and genuinely cares for the well beingnof the customers. 5 stars. Honestly I recommend this hotel like 100%a
Everyone here (especially the owner) is super nice, hospitable, & accommodating. A very nice sit down included breakfast in their dining room located in their immense lobby. The rooms are a good size. This is a classic hotel that could use some renovation but it is very comfortable and welcoming. The location is right at the Aswan Market and less than a 10 minute walk from the train station.
The houseboat is nestled in a beautiful place on the quieter side of Elephantine island. It is very well maintained and has all the modern amenities one expects to find in a hotel. The houseboat staff are all Aswan locals and very polite and well mannered. Adding to these, the excellent views from the houseboat rooms and upper decks help to make the stay an amazing experience.
Staff especially Reko is very friend and help with everything such as your or text booking but there’s always room for negotiation. The best thing about the guest house is the view, I see Nile from my window. it’s located in elephantine island which means you will need to prepare 5 Egyptian pounds each time for ferry but it runs every 3-5 min so it’s not an issue.
The hotel boasts a very comfortable bed and is exceptionally clean, situated in the heart of a unique village. There's a good restaurant nearby. Most importantly, the owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. They even assisted in booking a trip to Abu Simbel temple at very reasonable prices. I'll definitely return to stay here again.
This small hotel was a last minute booking and it sorprised me and my coworker, rooms are really comfy and the best part its the view, hotel its located right at the Nile, sunrises are just amazing, they have a great terrace in beduin style and they offered breakfast.
also staff is super friendly and they always want to help.
Every single detail about the interiors, to maintain the spirit on which the hotel was built. The staff are amazing. They are warm and friendly and help you on whatever you ask. The waiters of all shifts in the restaurant are so welcoming. The food was incredible. Definitely, this became my Aswan home. I didn't feel time here.
We liked this accommodation very much. It was a little far from the town but with community ferry it was fast to get to the center. The ferry only costs 10 egyptian pounds for person (0.20 €) and it's very fast. They make us breakfast boxes when we went to Abu Simbel. The view from the hotel was wonderful.
The hotel is located in the Elephantine Island. Just a 5 min walk from the public ferry. There is a separate private ferry stand just in front of it. It is a new hotel with excellent facilities. AC was working perfectly. Beds were comfortable. Mohammed helped us a lot in booking tours for us
The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is very central, 3 minutes walk to the Aswan train station, and 5 minutes walk to the old Aswan market. Quite close to fast food restaurants as well. The hotel room had a nice view of the Nile.
Starting with the location in the beautiful city of Aswan the hotel is located on an island with magnificent views, the hotel staff had been professional and very friendly specially Ms Haidy and Ms Tayseer from the guest relations, best hotel...
The staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. The hotel and room are very simple to stay short trip in Aswan. The restaurant is at the 6th floor, so the view was so wonderful.
