Wonderful experience and beautiful view.
Wonderful experience and beautiful view. We look the boat to the far end of Konigssee and hiked straight up for 2 hours to the waterfall. It was strenuous, but worth it. We stopped at Bartholomew on the way back, had a very good lunch at the restaurant and relaxed by the water before returning. The boats were very comfortable, clean and well maintained. Highly recommend.

The town is beautiful! There’s a lot to do in the area. I definitely recommend taking the boat tour across the lake to both Salet and St. Bartholoma. The hikes at both were incredible! There are several shops and restaurants near the lake with a lot of options for food and souvenirs. There’s a lot of parking as you get close to the waterfront. I do recommend getting there early though as the lots do fill up. Bring some coins for the parking meter as well. Definitely recommend a trip here!AAnonymous - 8.0Scored 8.0

What a beautiful place to spend time! The weather was perfect, the scenery was beautiful, the people were nice, and my husband and I enjoyed it so much. We can't wait to visit again because there is so much more to experience!

Get there early. There's a lot of people here. You had to wait in line to climb the mountain but I'm not complaining cause it's spectacular there. I wish they had a common area trash can though cause I kept picking up discarded trash from other visitors.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

When planning to visit Königssee, there could not be a Moree lovely place to stay. The lady who runs the house couldn't have been more helpful. Everything is clean, tidy and neat. Breakfast - lovely.

Every detail of the house was made with care. The view is amazing from the room (balcony). Nice surroundings. Next to the house there is a nice public playground and private parking. The shops, bakery, bus stop, restaurants are located within one km or less. There are a lot of things to do if you love nature. We only stayed 3 nights which was short.

On the first day, my wife got a bit sick and I called to ask for some medicines. The receptionist was quick to come to our door and offered different types of medicines which was very helpful. And on our last night, the 2 nearest restaurants were fully booked so we ended up having dinner at the hotel and it was very tasty.

There was a sauna that was almost empty, which was nice. WiFi worked properly. The design of the hotel is modern, which is fine, although I find a bit weird to look at the photo of the guy on the ceiling.
