No té gaires atractius turístics tret de la Catedral (impressionant!), el museu i la zona del riu, però és una ciutat acollidora i amable. És fácil moure-s'hi i hi ha molts blocs agradables on manjar o pendre cafè.

És una ciutat amb un casc antic molt bonic, destaca la catedral gòtica impressionant. El menjar típic de les Brauhaus boníssim i bé de preu. Hi ha molts carrers comercials i molta animació nocturna. Destaca pels seus museus. En deu minuts a peu, estaves al centre de Colònia. Al voltant de l'hotel hi havia força bars i restaurants on poder anar a menjar.
