A nice clean hotel with a cozy restaurant terrace to enjoy a meal/drink. A good breakfast with a standard choice (cereals, eggs, saussage, butter, crosissant, two other sweet cakes, selection of good juices, coffee, paprika and tomatoes). The restaurant was opened until 22:00 which we appreciated a lot, we enjoyed our dinner and friendly waiter.

a nice little Czech town once a very important medieaval urban centre, close to the wine areas on both sides of the Czech/Austrian border, only a little over one hour from Vienna, will have to come back in the summer to see the famous romanesque rotunda

It's a quick jaunt from Vienna, ergo a convenient way to get some Czech culture. My hunch is Telc would be a better trip but it's hard to reach. The town is good for 1-2 nights. We stayed two nights in early spring. The town seemed to be a tad sleepy even though it was Easter week. It made it seem like two nights was pushing it. But the town is pretty and I can see it being very interesting with nicer weather. Brush up on your German as there was not much English spoken.

Beautiful historical town with long tradition of wine making. Historical landmarks include magnificent St. Nicholas church, nearby St. Wenceslas chapel with the terrace that overlooks the river valley. Worth visiting is Znojmo Underground tour under the city, nearby Luka with former Praemonstratensis monastery and basilica, still in use for mass and open for tours. Former monastery now belongs to the local wine making company. In fact there is several larger wine producing businesses and plenty of smaller family businesses. Next to the city is National Park mostly surrounding the river bank with wine yards.

All you have to know: the old town of Znojmo is an urban...
All you have to know: the old town of Znojmo is an urban monument reservation. Narrow medieval streets and old, well preserved buildings bring unforgettable experience, and makes you travel back in time. Almost no traffic, only a few cars, and not many people: this gem of architecture is left for you to enjoy in slow pace, revealing it's idyllic and quiet way of life. We stayed there only for one day, and that was surely not enough. We'll get back! We would reccomend visiting brewery museum, wondering in the streets, visiting Rotunda of St. Catherine. But don't forget, that this region is also famous for wine. We suggest dropping in Wine bar Chatka, and taste a wine of local production- it's really good!
A hotel with an automated check-in might not have a human touch, but is a very convenient place to stay when travelling - especially when driving a car on Saturday, along with an unaccountable number of other holidaymakers. You are not making predictions, you will not spoil an evening of your host if you encounter an occasional traffic jam, and you can just enjoy your day.
The hotel itself is fabulous. Nice, spacious rooms, quiet, clean, modern facilities, and it has a (consistent) style! Nice place to stay - even if just for a night.
Pleasantly impressed with the stay at the hotel!
Cozy and comfortable! Friendly and attentive staff!
Delicious Czech national cuisine!
The room is comfortable and clean. The bathroom is equipped with both a bathtub and a shower cabin.
The breakfast is incredibly hearty.
A nice compliment from the hotel, a bottle of rosé wine!
I will definitely stay at this hotel again!
This is a really interesting hotel, which obviously dates back to before the Communist era although some bits like the heating system quite obviously are from the Communist era. An interesting experience and I mean that in a good way. The location in Znojmo is perfect to explore the town and if you do you'll find it a nice place with friendly people.
Fantastic, very large flat (about 50 square metres) in the very centre of Znojmo. Free private parking and great breakfast included in the accommodation price. What rarely happens, the flat looks much better in reality than in the photos. Very friendly and communicative hosts! Great price/quality ratio. I would definitely recommend this place.
Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast served to the room. The hotel is located in the very center of the city, next to a main square and castle. There is no private parking, but the nearest large city parking is around 500 m (Nam. Svobody, around 1.2 EUR per day). Weve tried couple of B&Bs in Znojmo, so far this one tops the list.
We've stayed once already in this apartment. The furnishing is nice, modern and comfy and there is a pleasant little garden to sit and have a coffee. We got a bottle of wine as a welcome present:) The apartment is located in a small village close to Znojmo and there is a superb pizza in one of the nearby villages.
Excellent breakfast. A lot of different options. Every day new cakes.
We had one of suite with a big terrace. We like very much this suite as it has a separate entrance and is very quiet.
The restaurant is very good. Everything is fresh and very tasty.
Excellent wines from Znojmo.
it is a beautiful location with a lovely garden. our room was very comfy and clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. It is a bit dark in the village where the hotel is and difficult to find the hotel at night so maybe make sure to get there before it's too dark
The hotel has very good restaurant with tasty and affordable food. The breakfast included in the price of the stay was good too. Overall the facility was okay, just as it's an older hotel, don't expect everything to be perfect.
English speaking receptionist, even though it was not in the description of the hotel. Restaurant in the hotel. Good for the one night stay while traveling. Free spacious parking.
Beautiful little cozy place in the center of Znojmo. The host was very nice, we appreciated the toys for our little one. We would definitely come back here.
