We booked a couple of rooms for us and the little kids but there was no connecting rooms available. However, the reception staff was extremely nice and very helpful and we got upgraded to a couple of apartments. Still not connected but they were right next to each other and they were excellent.
Breakfast was nice and having a basement parking was very useful to us.
The Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi is situated in the famous Capital Gate building and only walking distance from the Exhibition centre.

Lacks the charm and character it might have had ten years ago, limited amenities for families, not the best location for exploring Abu Dhabi outside of ADNEC.
