Although staying in Rosario ll we were able to have breakfast in Rosario across the road when we wanted too. Our hotel was immaculately clean, the cleaners were exceptional. Our room was very peaceful. Although a coffee machine was provided a kettle, when requested, was instantly brought to our room for our use when together with a selection of teas. First class service. We especially liked our underground garage space. The hotel is within 2 minutes walk of the beach and it is convenient to walk to anywhere in Ribadesella.

Absolutely everything. Eduardo gave us some really good pointers on where to to go, where to eat and what to see.
I can honestly say it is one of the best places I have stayed in many years of travelling.
The views. The environment. The room itself. The host. Just perfect on every level.
Gracias Eduardo, vamos a volver.

Lovely seaside town with spectacular mountain and coastal...
Lovely seaside town with spectacular mountain and coastal views, good promenades and beach, plenty of eating and drinking options. Very comfortable apartment with very friendly and informative hostess/manager. On our first night it was the festival of the town's patron saint - cue midnight bonfire and fireworks - we had a grandstand view across the river from our balcony. A couple of potential snags - the beach was closed for bathing because of river pollution (but there are some great beaches not far away); and the house between us and the mountain view looked like it was scheduled for redevelopment. Also, we did not have time, but historic caves nearby. Otherwise, it was perfect. I don't say that very often.

Lovely village with marina and nice walks along the promenade and harbourside. Not a huge choice of eating establishments but the one we chose "El Campanu" was terrific if a bit erratic in the order of delivery of dishes!

This was a stop for just one night along my walking trip.
This was a stop for just one night along my walking trip. I arrived at 14:00 I felt like I did tour the town by the evening. I took a long walk along the two parts of the town connected by the bridge, walked in the water, barefoot, along the beach which was so refreshing and relaxing for my tired feet. The views were stunning and the weather was so pleasant. Used the common lavendarias to wash my clothes, dined and had coffee with some delicious chocolate assortment at a nice chocolate store at the main town whole. It was Sunday and most of the shops were closed. Overall, it is very recommended for a short stop or get-way for peach lovers and surfers.

Ribadesella is a small gem.
Ribadesella is a small gem. Beautiful beach with a promenade you can walk all the way round. Nice little town with views of the mountains all around. Only a handful of hotels and limited places to eat and drink but that is to be expected for a small seaside town. Very peaceful. In the morning we woke to the sound of the waves on the shore.

The town boasts this lovely bay.
The town boasts this lovely bay. Our hotel was on the beach so we could take it all in at leisure. We walked from one end of the beach to the other taking in the lovely atmosphere. A short walk over the bridge to the town which looked quite busy and offered lots of restaurants, note that most of them don't open until 8.30 pm. Our hotel was well signposted and easy to find. We actually ate in one of the restaurants that we later found just behind our hotel rather than going back into town later. It was as good. We got a good view of the town from the viewpoint so had plenty to explore.

This place has amazing geography.
This place has amazing geography. River, ponds, beach and views of the mountains. A small marina & working boats, dropping catch at the fish market. If you like a stroll, then do the health walk, it takes you past ponds teaming with wildlife. A slightly more strenuous walk, then head for the Ermita. A proper all day walk head west, a circular walk over to the next place and back. Several businesses offering opportunities for water sports. We were there out of season and on a Monday, so couldn’t find a restaurant, (Monday closing, or closed for winter). Would like to return in spring.
We only stayed one night, arrived late and left early. It was an absolutely charming hotel right in the heart of charming Ribadesella. There was a street market the next morning. The waterfront is beautiful and surrounded by lovely restaurants and cafes. The price was super low. The balcony was a great place to hang out. Super nice people.
Sultan, the hostess/manager was very welcoming. Room was a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Shower stall suited our needs. Very convenient location just off the Camino route, and at start of old section. Lift available to higher floors. A number of nearby restaurants. Iglesia within 8 mins walk in case one wishes to attend services.
First of all Ribadesella, the place of the hotel, very close to the sea, the parking place in front of the hotel, the nice room. We had no breakfast, but no problem we went for churros as planned in the city at the border of the harbor. It was an absolute great stay. I really would see me coming back. Thumbs up.
This was our last night after a trip through Portugal and Spain on our way back to Santander.
Wonderful view from our room overlooking a very pretty bay. The hotel has an imposing facade with a huge outdoor pool to one side. Our experience from the booking in, to eating and drinking was faultless.
We love this hotel and its location. Unfortunately we didn’t get the exact room we wanted but still loved our sea view. In the unseasonal warm temperatures we were glad to get a fan when we asked.
Ribadesella is a nice location for exploring the area.
We would recommend this hotel and will return.
The lady at the reception was extremely helpful, and gave me some good recommendations. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Ribadesella on a budget. Location is a no-brainer if you want to go around the town. There is also a cafe right around the corner for breakfast and other meals.
Very clean and comfortable, with a charming room and a delicious breakfast. Located a few minutes drive outside Ribadesella itself, in a quiet, rural setting with a lovely view of the ocean. Marife, the manager was super nice, friendly, and helpful. we really enjoyed our stay!
Great location just one street away from the beach. Room was spacious and clean and had shutters to block the light outside for naps. Hotel has its own parking lot in the rear- this was very important since the area is very impacted by tourists and residents.
The location is perfect both to explore Asturias and to enjoy a late dinner in Ribadesella. The staff was nice and the room we stayed in had everything we needed, the bed was a little small for two but it worked completely fine for our one night stay
A beautiful 1920s boutique hotel perfectly modernised and providing every luxury. Right on the beautiful beach of Ribadesella, the whole team there couldn’t do more to help and provide every service from the minute we arrived.
This is a very good option for budget travellers. The rooms and the forniture look old but the bed was comfortable. There are many rooms, the views are great for Ribadesella and they have a free parking area for the guests.
This was the quietest hotel for mid-September. We slept so well - no car noise, people talking, bars emptying. And staff were so helpful. We highly recommend Hotel Brisas.
