With admission to Goryōkaku Tower in the Hokkaido region, you'll discover a special piece of architecture overlooking a star-shaped fort. You can learn more about the history of the region and take in local culture, with the tower regularly lighting up in different colours to align with the seasons, scenery or traditional events.

You'll climb up the 451 emergency stairs to gain access to the second floor of observation deck, not normally open to the public. From this vantage point, you'll have sweeping views over landmarks and the natural landscape.
